The Pittsburgh Steelers have inked defensive back Nate Meadors to a Reserve/Future contract, marking a continuation of their commitment to bolstering their roster. Meadors’ journey with the Steelers began when he was initially signed to the practice squad on December 27.

Meadors embarked on his professional football career when he joined the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent following the 2019 NFL Draft. Throughout his NFL tenure, he has seen action in a total of three games, including two appearances in 2019 and one in 2020.

Notably, Meadors has traversed various NFL teams, making stops with the New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee Titans, and Cleveland Browns on multiple occasions, with his most recent stint occurring with the latter. His versatility and experience across multiple teams underscore his adaptability within the league.

Beyond his NFL endeavors, Meadors also ventured into the XFL, showcasing his skills with the St. Louis Battlehawks during his tenure in the league.

Prior to his professional career, Meadors honed his craft at the collegiate level with UCLA, where he made significant contributions over 44 games. His collegiate career culminated in impressive statistics, including 150 tackles, 116 solo stops, three interceptions, four tackles for loss, two sacks, 22 passes defensed, and a forced fumble, highlighting his multifaceted skill set and impact on the field.
