According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Wilson is undergoing a second interview with the New York Giants for a key position on Brian Daboll’s coaching staff. Wilson has also been scheduled for interviews with the Tennessee Titans and the Los Angeles Rams.

Dennard Wilson began his coaching career in 2012, with the St. Louis Rams. He stayed with the organization through its relocation to Los Angeles, steadily rising through the ranks and earning a promotion to defensive backs coach.

Wilson joined the New York Jets in 2017, where he remained in the same position while also serving as the passing game coordinator. Given his history with the Rams, Wilson may benefit from a return to the team.

Dennard Wilson played an important role in propelling the Baltimore Ravens to the No. 6 spot in overall defense, particularly excelling in the No. 6 pass defense position.

Given the Giants, Titans, and Rams’ struggling defensive performances, all of which are ranked in the league’s bottom tier in 2023, Wilson’s expertise stands out as a potential catalyst for positive change on these teams.

Despite his brief tenure with the Ravens, having joined them following a two-season stint with the Eagles, Wilson is one of the NFL’s hottest defensive coordinator candidates and a rising star in the industry.
