Breaking News : Luton defender says Leeds have a player who will Make Them Win Today…

Joe Taylor, a forward for Lincoln City, earned his first hat-trick in his professional career as the team crushed Bristol Rovers 5-0 at the LNER Stadium in League One on Saturday.

In the 19th minute, the 21-year-old nodded home Lasse Sorensen’s cross to score his third goal of the game after witnessing Paudie O’Connor break the deadlock. Four minutes later, he doubled his total, and early in the second half, he finished his treble with a clever finish over the advancing goalie.

Taylor, who earlier in the season scored 12 goals in 25 games for Colchester United, is now the top scorer for both of the teams to which he has been loaned this season after tallying six goals in his last three games for the Imps, for a total of eight goals and a combined total of 20 for both teams. Michael Skubala, the Imps boss, stated: “It was great to score five goals. All I want is for people to score goals and be in the correct spots. Joe came here because he is always becoming better, and it is obvious that he poses a serious threat to anyone.”[

League One opponents Cheltenham Town held Barnsley to a goalless draw at home on Saturday, preventing fellow striker John McAtee from adding to his already impressive record of 11 goals for the team. Jack Walton, the goalkeeper, has asked Dundee United supporters to remain loyal to their team following last Friday’s 3-1 Scottish Championship loss to Dunfermline. “We would have liked to win and go four points clear on the night, but the fact is we didn’t take that chance – and I understand the frustration of the supporters,” Walton told The Courier Evening Telegraph of the Tannadice Park team, which is currently only ahead of Raith on goal difference after losing three of their last six league games.

“Unfortunately, we fell short of our expectations despite knowing our expectations and our performance for the most part this season. We were killed in the first half. From 2-0, it’s an uphill struggle. However, we require the supporters. It truly helps and motivates us when they support us. It will be quite close. And we must ensure that we carry out our duties.

With a 1-0 victory over Barnet on Saturday, Woking made it four wins out of five in the National League, with Town attacker Jayden Luker playing a major role. After missing an opportunity to score with a volley in the first half, the teenager saw his shot charged down on 61 minutes, allowing Kevin Berkoe to score the game’s lone goal. As the Daggers defeated Maidenhead United 4-1 at home, winger Dion Pereira made his 11th appearance for Dagenham & Redbridge in the National League.

In front of more than 2,000 spectators at Clarence Park on Saturday, Millar Matthews-Lewis got the ball rolling as Farnborough defeated Aveley 3-1 to win the National League South for the fourth time in a row. Meanwhile, young players Aidan Francis-Clarke and Jake Burger were both starting for National League South team St Albans City, which lost 2-1 to Truro City at home. Dorchester Town defeated Beaconsfield Town 4-3 to extend their winning streak in the Southern Premier League South to five games. The victory was captained by young goalkeeper Jameson Horlick.

In the Southern League Premier Central, AFC Sudbury fell short 1-0 at home against Kettering Town despite the contributions of Josh Allen and Jacob Pinnington. In the same league, Hitchin Town was defeated 3-0 at Leamington, with Jack Bateson starting and Oli Lynch on the bench.
