🚨 BREAKING: Wolves Agree £18M Deal for Portuguese Midfielder

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly reached an agreement in principle to sign Diogo Valente, a 24-year-old Portuguese defensive midfielder, in a deal worth £18 million.

Valente has impressed with his ball-winning ability, composure under pressure, and intelligent distribution, making him one of Wolves’ priority targets after the club identified defensive midfield as an area requiring immediate reinforcement.

Sources suggest personal terms have already been agreed, with only the final details between the two clubs and a medical remaining before the transfer is officially completed. Manager Vítor Pereira is believed to have personally approved the move, seeing Valente as the ideal player to bring balance and stability to the squad.

Wolves moved quickly after learning that two other European clubs were monitoring the midfielder, determined to avoid a bidding war and secure the signing before the start of the new season.

If completed, the deal would represent a major statement of intent as Wolves continue reshaping their squad with younger, technically gifted players capable of competing in the Premier League.
