BREAKING NEWS: Guns N’ Roses Invests $3.6 Million to Transform Historic Mansion into Shelter for Homeless Youth in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, June 10, 2025 — In a powerful display of philanthropy and social responsibility, iconic American rock band Guns N’ Roses has announced a monumental initiative: the band is investing $3.6 million USD to convert a historic Los Angeles mansion into a state-of-the-art shelter for homeless youth. This major move aims to address one of California’s most pressing humanitarian crises — youth homelessness — by providing not only shelter but also long-term support, education, and rehabilitation opportunities for at-risk young individuals.

This announcement comes amid the band’s high-profile international tour, Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things, which has seen the group perform to sold-out stadiums across Europe and is scheduled to continue through Latin America later this year. Despite the demanding tour schedule, the group is now making headlines not just for their music, but for their commitment to making a meaningful impact off-stage.

The Property and the Plan

The mansion, located in Hollywood Hills, was purchased earlier this year under a private holding company quietly established by the band’s management. Only now has it been revealed that the property acquisition was part of a strategic, socially-driven initiative, spearheaded by Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose and longtime members Slash and Duff McKagan.

According to the band’s publicist, the 8,000-square-foot property will undergo immediate renovations to be transformed into a multi-purpose shelter designed to serve over 100 homeless and at-risk youth annually. The facility, tentatively named “The Paradise Shelter” — a nod to the band’s legendary hit Paradise City — will include:

Temporary and transitional housing

Therapeutic counseling services

Vocational training programs
